Alistair Bell
Founder & Project Director
With many years in senior project management, Alistair brings a rigorous, organised approach to every build. He has spent his career leading complex construction projects from first survey to final handover — always with an eye on programme, budget and, above all, quality.
That experience is the backbone of Mountain River Ltd. Whether it is a new family home, a full renovation or a landscaped garden, Alistair is hands-on throughout, making sure the standards are met and the client is kept informed at every stage.
As a family-owned business, we take our reputation personally. The vast majority of our work comes from repeat clients and recommendations — and we would not have it any other way.

Our approach

Our name reflects the range of what we do. We create new homes from the ground up, we build and remodel existing properties, and we transform the outdoor spaces around them.
